Vodafone’s ReConnect programme aims to bring talented women in 26 countries back into the workplace after a career break. Vodafone is committed to empowering women and helping young people increase their skills through technology. We work alongside Code First: Girls, a multi-award winning social enterprise which works with companies and women to increase the proportions of women in tech to deliver #codelikeagirl workshops across all of our markets.

The workshops are suitable for all girls of ages 14 to 18, irrespective of their skills. Providing basic knowledge of computer languages and development programmes including html, CSS, GitHub and Bootstrap, enabling the students to develop a website by the end of the one-week training programme. We partner with schools across our markets, while girls whose schools are not involved can register their interest here.
